Get to Know Me: Day 14 Of The Blogging Challenge

March 14, 2016

Hey!! We all know I don’t usually write on Saturdays, and as I was sitting to write this down yesterday we had some severe weather come through. I lost power. It wasn’t fun. So Today is going to be 3 in one. But I promise day 12 & 13 are super simple!

Day 12- My Favorite Five Foods

1.     Chicken & Cheese Smothered Nachos.
2.     My granny’s chocolate gravy on buttered biscuits.
3.     My nana’s egg sandwiches.
4.     Potato Casserole.
5.     My momma’s stuffed mushrooms.

Day 13- 3 Things I’m Looking Forward to This Year

1.     Monkey Man’s Birthday:
2.     My 2nd Wedding Anniversary:
3.     Hopefully getting to go on a vacation to Tennessee to see my Father in Law.

Day 14- My Daily Schedule

6:00 a.m. – Wake Up (my husband is already gone by this time to go to work)
6:30 a.m.- Get the kids up/fed/get them dressed along with myself
7:30 a.m.- Take Monkey to school.
8:00-10:00 a.m.- Try to clean up the house (Dishes/Kitchen/Living Room/Start the Laundry), while Buggy follows me around tearing it up.
10:30 a.m.- Buggy goes down for a nap, this is when I blog.
11:55 a.m. - Pick up Monkey from his half day program and eat lunch with him (if he didn’t eat it at school).
12:00-1 :00 p.m.– “Play time” with the kids. This can be coloring/paining/crafts… anything I’ve got up my sleeve.
1:30-2:00 p.m.- Monkey & Buggy lay down for their naps/rest time.
2:00-3:00 p.m.- Clean up what we tore up during “play time”.
3:30 p.m.- Wake kids up and start prepping for supper.
4:30 p.m.- My husband gets home and we go outside (weather permitting) and enjoy a little vitamin D & fresh air.
5:00 p.m.- Supper Time!!!!
5:45-6:00 p.m.- Dishes (Again)
6:15-6:30 p.m.: Boy’s Bath times & Brush Their Teeth
7:00 p.m.-Bed Time for Monkey man (and shortly following Buggy)/Mommy check on the blog again.
8:00 p.m.- Final Sweep of the house and watch a little tv with my hunnie.
9:45-10:45- At any time during this time, we will go to sleep.

My day seems pretty simple, but there is so much that I can’t put on that list. Such as the same 5 toys I seem to pick up over and over and over all day long. The bathroom breaks and diaper changes. The rocking and conversations. There is so much to being a stay at home mom, while trying to have a successful blog. It’s tough life, but it’s  a fun life!
