Life Lately

I know. I know.

I broke blogger rule like #1. Basically it's not to disappear, and I broke that rule! I didn't mean to, life happens. But I wanted to let you all in on what has been going on these past few weeks and show some fun pictures of our Halloween Activities and what not!

So earlier in November we had family pictures taken by my best friend, and awesome photographer, Sara Jane Rickett! Seriously, every time I get her work I almost faint at how pretty she is able to make all of us! Haha.  I am so saddened by how big my boys are getting, I mean really. How is it that kids grow up so fast, it is like we barely blink and low and behold they are grown. But anyway here are some of our favorites from that session:

Gah! I just love love looking at those photos!  But then Halloween started, and boy was I ever busy. Making goody bags for Monkey's class, getting their Halloween costumes together, trying to continue to clean the house...haha. It was wild. My little boys decided to be cowboys this year, and they were the cutest ones I've seen.

But here we are getting ready for the crazy holiday season! I am ready for it this year too, after starting to embrace my homemakerness, I'm excited to get the holidays going! What are you looking forward to? Are you an early Christmas-er? Do you bask in Thanksgiving? Let me know!

  2. I did that too for awhile, don't worry, you'll bounce back! It's hard over holiday season :) We've already had thanksgiving here in Canada but we're preparing for Christmas already (I can't even believe it). It's crazy how fast time goes by! This year we have it easy because we'll be traveling to Belgium to visit my brother, so no tree and only presents that fit on a plane!

  3. Cute pics! I have teenagers, and they made their own costumes and just skipped out of the house and we didn't see them until later on Halloween. They came back with lots of stories. Oh how times have changed! It's just as fun now as it was when they were little, but for different reasons.
